Fix file conversion and sharing problems
What to try when photos have margins, text looks blurry, videos stay large or transfers stop.
My photo has margins on A4
A landscape photo on a portrait A4 page can leave space above and below. It is fitted without cropping or stretching. Keep A4 for printing, or choose original image size to match the page to the photo.
Text exported from a PDF looks blurry
In PDF → Images, try PNG and Sharp (2×). For photo-only pages, compare JPG too. Increasing resolution cannot restore text that was already blurry in the original document.
My trimmed video starts at a different point
Original quality is fast but can cut slightly away from the selected point. Try Small or Balanced, then check the start, end and sound.
My video is still too large
Shorten the selected segment or choose Small. A video that is already compressed may not get smaller. Compare file sizes and check the resulting picture quality.
A file transfer keeps disconnecting
Keep both devices’ pages open and check that the file is still listed. Try the same Wi-Fi on both devices. If the sharing page was closed, rejoin the room and add the file again.
